Smart New Years Resolutions

Happy New Year!
I hope everyone had a fun & safe New Year’s Eve. I spent mine with my family, some friends, and my wonderful boyfriend. We had a hilarious game of Pictionary, played with really cool masquerade masks, and watched the famous ball drop in New York City. That next morning, we sat around the kitchen table with our steaming mugs of hot cocoa & coffee to talk about our goals for the new year. The key to smart goal setting can literally be spelt-out:
                                                                       S     pecific
                                                                       M   easuable
                                                                       A    ttainable
                                                                       R    elevant
                                                                       T    ime-bound
So we took the time to make sure these were all written out on paper and shared them in order to hold one another accountable. I recommend this exercise for anyone who made resolutions and is already struggling with them (most of us) or if you didn’t make any at all (the rest of us.) It can make a huge difference!
Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude. – Denis Waitley
Until next time!

  1. I used to hang out on the rooftop of Bonds (old clothing store) in Times Square and watch the ball drop. Was super fun. I hope you keep to your "SMART" and attain the goals you set out to keep. Lisette
