4 Areas of Life That Could Use A Little More Attention

And by ‘use a little more attention’ I mean, ‘could use a little GOAL-SETTING’.

So, I’m on what I’ve been affectionately referring to as a ‘goal-roll’ lately. Basically, I can’t stop thinking, talking, or actively pursuing a few very important goals that I have set recently. I guess real commitment takes that kind of insane focus, am I right?!

Here are a few areas of my life that are currently being fueled forward by some detailed goals. Are any these also garnering a squeaky wheel in your life? If so… step to it!

Where’s the adventure in your life?! Maybe you want to bungee jump off a bridge, lay on a beach and listen to some reggae, or generally roam out into this beautiful world… who knows! Make some goals about the places you want to go, the activities you want to do and the things you want to see. What makes YOU tick?

So as it turns out, living a normal life in society can get a little expensive. Financial goals don’t necessarily entail saving up for that Maserati (though they can…) – more often, it can mean setting a goal to put away a certain amount per month into a savings account. Or getting yourself out of debt. Dig your well before you need the water!

Maybe there are some strained relationships around the Thanksgiving table. Maybe there are some relationships that need their distance. Whatever the case, by blood or association, our family plays a large role in our lives. Finding a common ground can improve and strengthen those bonds. What goals can you all work on together?

How’s your relationship with God? Where are you with your personal growth? How do you view yourself? These are questions I have to ask myself every day. Figure out what you need to work on in your life and make goals to improve. HE is with you every step along the way. 🙂
