Age Is Just A Number

Your age isn’t as important as your willingness to move forward.

Being young in years and having less experience in certain fields will almost always result in someone telling you that ‘you aren’t ready’ or ‘you aren’t cut out for…’ whatever. However, take these critiques as motivation to push yourself; being young can’t be an excuse to give up.

Being young is a reason to push forward with all of your might!

Sometimes, when faced with someone who doesn’t immediately see our potential, we can act out. We can search for ways to undermine the opposition in forms of slandering – we see it in politics all of the time.

Romans 12:10 says, “Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.” Moving forward in life isn’t about knocking out the competition – unless you’re a UFC MMA fighter, of course. Honoring and edifying your teammates, family, friends, and co-workers is the most effective way to succeed in meeting your goals.

Aggressively prove your worth instead of aggressively undermining someone else’s.

Here is recent post about being an example; check it out for more tips on how to launch yourself morally into a position of leadership in your workplace, your field, and your general circle of influence.

  1. This is so true! Being a teen sometimes you put off your dreams because think you’re not ready, but if you have that willingness it’s never too early to go for it (:
