I Am Not Bossy, I Am The Boss

“You are SO bossy…”

Bossy, adjective

1. fond of giving people orders; domineering.

That is the definition of bossy. A domineering demeanor. It is in my personal opinion that this accusation is often times misconstrued with assertiveness.

Assertive, adjective

2. having or showing a confident personality; bold, decisive, forthright, self-assured.

Remember your balance. Understand that by actively being assertive on your career-orientated path, you run the risk of being called ‘bossy.’ But take heart in knowing that there is a powerful and genuine confidence that blooms from taking that leap of faith and being firm in your decision-making.

You can still be humble and bold. You can be open-minded and decisive. You can be gentle and forthright. You can be kind and self-assured.

So be bold. Be decisive. Be forthright. Be self-assured.

You are worth it.
