I Don’t Know How, But I Will
Well Jenni, that doesn’t make any sense.
Hm, maybe not on the surface.
Look, I’m all about detail. I am a melancholy perfectionist by nature, so these words are more directed at myself than anyone. But, sometimes when you make a life-changing decision, the detail just doesn’t matter.
You need to pick a direction and you need to stick to it. Come hell or high water, you’re going to march towards your goal. That’s the key to success so many people are searching for. That’s the magic we’re eager to find in every book, article, speaking engagement, and conference…. you just need to stick your neck out sometimes.
Blaze a trail, get your show on the road… Good grief, every other song, poem, movie, and book is about taking a risk and accepting the consequences – good or bad. So make your own story just as epic as the ones you read and watch. Make your own decisions about your life instead of letting life making decisions for you. Take control of your destiny rather than giving it to the people and circumstances around you.
Make your own decisions about your life instead of letting life making decisions for you.
Approach risk with caution, but also with determination. Face the fears of rejection and failure with fire in your eyes. People will notice when you’re convicted. You’re goals can become more than dreams as long as you put in the real work.
So, to end a fiery post, I just want to say this:
You’re more than capable of making a difference.
